San Diego Landscape Design by The Yard Fairy:
Our Services

The Yard Fairy provides landscape design and installation to residents of North San Diego County. Our team is among the best in landscape design, and the quality of our work is exceptional. At the Yard Fairy, your complete satisfaction is our number one goal.

Please explore the below choices in landscaping sevices to see which best meets your residential or commercial landscaping needs. Then, contact us to see how we can help you design the landscape of your dreams!

Option 1: Basic Landscape Consultancy Service

Time: 2 hours......................................... Price: $150.00

A basic consultation with The Yard Fairy has us visiting with you in your home and garden, spending time discovering what you like and dislike. We determine what your yard has to offer, and what you would really like to do with it. During your consult, you will receive onsite suggests of plants that would work well in your yard, suggestions on how to improve the soil, and recommendations for getting the best visual effect out of the space you have available.

This service is great for those who love to garden but just need a little help and guidance, perhaps with a problem area or with a yard that just seems too overwhelming.

Option 2: Magical Makeover Service

The first step of our "Magical Makeover Service" is to spend time with you to find out what you want and what you like. There may be some favorite plants that are already part of your yard - we can keep those, and integrate additional selections to set off the existing foliage.

We also analyze things like spacing, shade, special areas that you may want to devote to certain activities, such as a meditation garden, or a spot where you can picnic outside with the family, and other things of that nature.

Next, we put together our plan and buy the necessary plants and materials. Finally, The Yard Fairy is ready to work our magic. We develop your yard in small sections so that you can really see a difference at the end of the day. And all for less than you would think!

Option 3: Landscape Design Service

This is a great choice for those of you who have an entire front or back yard that needs a major facelift. Again, our first step is to spend time with you in your yard and find out your wants and needs, taking into account what your yard has to offer in terms of sunlight, soil and water. Then we take measurements and digital photos.

Back to the office, we draw up a to-scale plan as well as add in the non-growing components, or "hardscape", e.g. patios, walkways and decks. Finally, we plot the placement of the plants. The Yard Fairy always takes into account the future (full-grown) size of the plants, so we can allow them enough space to grow without crowding. This saves you time and money by reducing future maintenance bills.

Once all of this is taken care of, the final landscape design can then be handed over to your landscape contractor who will be able to install the yard you've always envisioned!
